SOURPEMI (Pemika Lewchalermwong) is a graphic illustrator based in Bangkok, graduated with a major in Graphic Design from the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts at Chulalongkorn University and now works full-time as a freelance illustrator under the name sourpemi. Her practice draws heavily from everyday life—capturing humor, small observations, and the lively chaos found in daily moments.
Pemika’s digital work is characterised by bold lines, vibrant colors, and a tactile visual sensibility, often turning maximal or awkward scenes into perfectly composed images. Anything that catches her eye becomes an opportunity to express enjoyment, transforming even imperfect moments into something positive and playful.
Currently, sourpemi is exploring new media and research-based approaches, continuing to refine a visual world where chaos is arranged with intention and joy.
