Installation & Maintenance
A guide to installing and caring for your work
Installation
How to install

1. Eye level
When hanging a piece, the centre of the image should sit at roughly eye level, about 148–165 cm. For a set, measure from the centre of the whole set.

2. Where to start
Find the centre of the wall first, then start hanging from the largest piece, or the piece nearest the centre.

3. High ceilings
For high-ceiling walls (4 metres or more) with several pieces, you can hang above eye level — start with the lowest piece at eye level.

4. Spacing
Leave about 5–7 cm between pieces (judging by eye is fine). For pieces larger than 60 cm, you can widen the gap to 8–10 cm as suits.

Maintenance
Care
Cleaning Glass / Acrylic
Wipe gently with a clean microfibre cloth. Avoid glass cleaners containing ammonia, especially on acrylic, as they can leave a white haze.
Avoid Direct Sunlight
Although archival-grade materials resist UV, avoiding strong direct sunlight will extend the life of the image and materials as long as possible.
Dust Regularly
Dust regularly with a feather duster or a soft dry cloth, around the edges of the frame, to keep dust from building up.

Large pieces over 2 kg
We recommend drilling the wall, using a No. 6–8 bolt or screw.
- Concrete wall: use a plastic anchor — figure 1
- Gypsum wall: use a toggle anchor — figure 2
- Lightweight brick: use an AAC anchor — figure 3
